Trail Reviews

June 21, 2025, Grafham Water loop - Jun 25

Where to go when it's 32 degrees outside? Water or forest. Grafham has both. We found a spot to park the car at point A. We had been here last year just for a loop around the lake. This time, we took the paths that go to the bird hide and spent time listening to and seeing them. This place is good for biking, running, and hiking, passing through the woods and along the lake with a mix of gravel and asphalt paths. It has spots for small BBQs and is good for picnics in some areas. On hot days, it's good for swimming, which I did at the end. If you want something different from the normal route, follow our path to discover the hidden parts. At the end, we took a path through the churchyard. It was a nice, clean, and peaceful space. After 10 miles, we didn't feel as though we had walked so much. It gave us such good and positive energy. We are looking forward to the next one! 😁
