The Loop in the Massif de l'Estérel immerses you in a unique landscape of red volcanic rocks meeting the deep blue of the Mediterranean. This road cycling route offers a constant visual feast, with the View of the Estérel Massif standing out among the cliffs and hidden coves. It's an opportunity to cycle along coastal roads and rolling hills, enjoying the almost otherworldly atmosphere created by the contrasting colors.
This moderate 46.1-kilometer route, with an elevation gain of 696 meters, can be completed in approximately 2 hours and 19 minutes. It's ideal for cyclists with good fitness looking for a manageable challenge and spectacular views. The area is popular year-round, but for a more pleasant experience, consider visiting in spring or autumn when temperatures are milder and the roads less crowded.
The Massif de l'Estérel is famous for its distinctive geology, being one of the few places in France with these red volcanic rock formations. The Corniche de l'Estérel (N98), part of the route, is considered one of France's most picturesque coastal roads, offering impressive turns and vistas. It's a favorite destination for cycling clubs and an excellent way to explore the natural beauty of the Costa Azul.

With the 23'er Püschchen it was definitely very daring 😅.
But nothing broke and I didn't grab it either, although sometimes it was really egg dancing with slow speed.
It was nice anyway...👍
