In 1713, the structure fell victim to a devastating fire. In the second half of the 18th century (the year 1786 can be seen on a window in the eastern wall), the structure was extended with the rear part. Lago di Caldonazzo = a treat for the retina! The loop follows almost exclusively well-signposted, mostly paved bike paths. The most accessible stretch for cycling is 2-3 km past Levico Terme on the SP 228, which is very narrow and has lots of cars. Conclusion: The loop is highly recommended.

Surprisingly beautiful route with lots of variety, almost only on cycle paths and small side roads. Cycling is prohibited at Lake Levico, but you can ride slowly or push your bike. Lake Levico is a place to unwind, almost otherworldly 😌
