It is a long route but it is not particularly demanding. Avoid going up the Cuesta de los Presidiarios when the sun is already shining (getting up early on this route is worth it).

Nice walk in winter (February). Pleasant on the walk (15-20 C) and a few snowy peaks tower above it.
Not crowded in winter. Path is clear to find. Climbing and descending is not that bad - there is 1 more challenging descent - but the duration makes it a bit harder. Great for hikers with experience.
