Fish Valley Round

The sparkling blue water of the 55-billion-gallon Round Valley Reservoir is a constant visual anchor, providing excellent views as you hike. Expect to complete this route in about 2 hours and 50 minutes.

This trail is set within a vast landscape of 5,291 acres of eastern woodlands and parkland surrounding the reservoir. The Round Valley Reservoir is particularly notable as a renowned fishing spot, famous for producing trophy trout, including lake trout, brown trout, and rainbow trout. Four New Jersey fishing records have been set here, making it a significant location for anglers and a unique feature of the area.
