"Rosi Rotkehlchen" children's trail in Oppenau

On the “Rosi Robin” children’s trail, everything revolves around the topic of birds: Rosi introduces her habitat and her fellow residents and takes you and your children to numerous play equipment, information boards and rest areas. The three-kilometer-long loop starts on the town hall square, from where you take the chapel path to the panoramic promenade path. Open your eyes and ears – hikers young and old are greeted by different birds along the way.

Then we go through the forest up to the small plain. Rosi is already waiting for you at the rest hut there and a little further west the children can let off steam at the playground while the adults enjoy the wonderful view. Past the Turnerhütte you follow the path to the pavilion at the Scheibenfelsen, which offers you a wide view over Oppenau. At the red Velcro hut, just a few minutes' walk away, you can also expect an impressive view down into the valley and funny wooden figures along the way. Afterwards, Rosi Robin shows you the way back to the starting point.
