Selworthy Beacon is a hill and Marilyn (Prominence of 150m) of Exmoor in Somerset, England. It lies within the boundaries of Exmoor National Park, to the north of the village of Selworthy and northwest of Minehead. The South West Coast Path also climbs the hill and ends slightly shy of the summit.

This has to be one of the most scenic lengths of singletrack in the country, with views down to the Exmoor Coastline and beyond on a clear day. Absolutely stunning and well worth the climb!

Horner Wood

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

Horner Wood is one of those places that becomes the essence of a place, once you've ridden it. Great views on fast trails which plunge into steep woodland; roots, rocks, trains in abundance. A terrific place.

Dunkery Beacon Descent

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

This descent is wide open and fast - at least initially. It soon becomes rather more rocky than is welcome as you charge into it at warp factor nine. Careful application of the brakes will soon see you right, though, and there's an excellent sojourn through some wooded quarry ruins at the end.

A steep woodland, with doubletrack running through it offering a fast and fun way back down the valley. If you look, you can see where local builders have made tracks of their own!

A long route with a fair bit of up, I was happy I was on my ebike as it would be tough going for anyone of average fitness on a manual bike I'd say
