The Panoramaweg takes you on winding forest paths to one of the most beautiful vantage points of the region, the viewpoint Maria Zill. It then goes back through the picturesque vineyards on the Moselle slopes.
Starting point of the promising round hike is in the district Bernkastel in front of the tourist information. From here you walk along the Kallenfelsbach stream through the shady forest. It goes uphill tight. After you crossed the brook on a small wooden bridge and turned north, it goes on a bit flatter. A little later you reach a clearing and the viewpoint Maria Zill. Here, benches and tables invite you to take a leisurely break. There is also a refuge.
Now it goes downhill and after a short walk you leave the forest to dive into the beautiful vineyards on the Moselle. Here you will also find a tourist restaurant, if you want to come. With a fantastic view of the Mosel and Bernkastel-Kues, you then descend and get back to the starting point.
