The circular tour into the Antheringer Au starts at the Marko Feingold footbridge. When crossing the footbridge, you can admire the countless padlocks that lovers leave here. It is also worth taking a look at the Hohensalzburg Fortress from here. On the right bank, you then cycle out of the city along the Salzach. Shortly before Bergheim, you leave the river and cycle past beautiful fields and villages to Anthering, where you can take a short break. You can refresh yourself in one of the inns and on hot days, the outdoor pool invites you to swim.
Then you cycle directly into the Antheringer Au. Here you cycle leisurely through the quiet forest and are very close to nature. With a bit of luck, you will even see wild boars. You then cycle back to Salzburg along the banks of the Salzach. As you roll along the well-developed cycle path, you will have unique views of the Hohensalzburg Fortress again and again.
