From the hiking portal of the Lahn-Dill-Bergland in Bicken on the district road to Eisemroth, the route goes steeply uphill until you reach the "Rudolfshain" vantage point. From here, the hiker has a wonderful view towards Greifenstein and the Aartal villages of Bicken and Ballersbach.
