Hiking

The Rauher Kopf is Ischgl's local mountain and can be reached from the village in about three hours. The route leads from the Silvretta cable car to the church and then in the direction of the middle station. The strenuous ascent takes you through the forest to the Tschamatschkopf, from where there are still around 300 meters in altitude to overcome. The view from the summit cross is the perfect reward for the ascent.

There are two options for the way back: The somewhat shorter descent is on the south side via the Pirstigalpe in the direction of Pardatscher See and Schwarzwasser See.
The longer variant leads via "Äußeres und Inneres Bergli", from where you can reach the deep blue Berglisee in about 15 minutes and should not be missed. After the descent to Mathon, you can easily get back to Ischgl by bus.
