According to legend, all women and girls who drink from the Silberborn spring are blessed with new life🤰. To be on the safe side, we didn't let our two drink🤭, as that could cause trouble with their parents. 🤣A lovely little walk through a wonderfully shady beech forest with lots of stops for young and old.

Beautiful hiking trail.
Well-suited for children.

A short but very beautiful hike. Just right for our little "hangers-on." Lovingly designed stations, some a bit dated, invite you to stroll through the biodiversity reserve and explore the mythical world of the surrounding area.

Even though a heavy rain shower soaked us right before we reached the parking lot, it was a wonderful experience.

The Hainich UNESCO World Heritage Site is truly impressive.
If you want to get a sense of its diverse beauty in just one day, these four tours are a good choice.
They are very varied and, due to their length, also ideal for hikes with children. There's plenty for all ages to discover along the trails, using all their senses.
