What a beautiful tour! Petershagen isn't far from us, but we've never been to many of the small villages before. It's as if time has stood still there. We saw five storks. The highlight was this cute café right on the Weser River, with homemade plum cake. We'll definitely do this tour again!

We didn't see any steps that you have to climb with your bike or stretches that you aren't allowed to ride on with your bike, as stated in the description.

However, there is currently (as of 18.7.24) a construction site that means you can't get under the Weser Bridge, but a diversion is signposted.

I chose the stork route at mittelweser-tourismus.de/tour/storchenroute. But I only saw one stork. Either they were all on lunch break or I was just blind. Maybe one or the other has an idea what I did wrong. The tour was still nice because I always like to go to the Weser.
