Between Triberg and Schönwald, between Geutsche and Adelheid, I was on the Prisental Tour, a signposted premium trail. It's the Black Forest I like: rough, wild, original and natural with beautiful views and one of the smallest chapels in the Black Forest with a beautiful altar.
A curiosity along the route is the Triberger Bobbahn. Competitions were actually held here …

Today we hiked in the Prisental Valley. It was a beautiful spring hike, offering breathtaking views at every turn. We also visited an old bobsleigh run near Triberg. The natural ice bobsleigh run was built around 1910 and operated until the mid-1950s. The hiking trail follows the track, and you can still see the banked curves.
