The tour starts in beautiful spring weather at the site of the former Kissinger Hut, before it burned down. Hopefully, it will reopen as planned this summer. We would have loved to stop there after the hike, but we'll definitely do that next time; the view from up here on the Feuerberg is truly fantastic.
