Very nice tour.
A somewhat strenuous climb, otherwise a very relaxed tour. At the end of the tour there is a beautiful wooden lounger for a relaxing end with a view of the valley.

The tour through the Lautertal to the source of the Lauter can only be recommended.
You hear almost no noise in the nature reserve. Only the little birds are singing, the leaves are rustling and the sound is rippling away.
There are many sights along the way.
At the source of the Lauter you can actually see the water gushing …

Ice Age Trails 5/20 ✅️
The 13.8 km long Lauterfelsensteig starts and ends at Herrlingen train station, so it's perfect if you want to travel by train.
I had actually imagined something completely different. For a stretch you walk through the Kleine Lautertal with a few rocks, in Lautern is the source of the Kleine Lauter, but that's all the …

On this lovely walk, we were able to fully enjoy the perfect autumn weather today 🤗 The small Lautertal valley is always worth a visit; today, even the idyllically situated Gasthaus Lamm was open, and we could enjoy the sun while sitting outside 😃
I got the inspiration for this tour from the lovely @Henni 🏞
Thank you 🥰👋

Hello 🙋Ömchen out and about with @Annett again today 😊Thank you so much Annett for this beautiful day 😘

From Herrlingen train station, the trail leads gently uphill along the Erwin Rommel Trail, then continues through a beautiful forest until you reach the beautiful Chapel of St. Mary Help of Christians with its Stations of the Cross. If the chapel is open, a visit to the interior is worthwhile. See also se-blautal.drs.de/st-andreas-herrlingen/unsere-kirchen/maria-hilf-kapelle.html

Today the goal was the spring pot of the Kleine Lauter. So we mainly followed the Lauterfelsensteig to the source, where we had coffee and a piece of cake. We returned to Herrlingen via the abandoned Lauterstein Castle and Oberherrlingen Castle.
The sun was our constant companion and not only attracted us to the Lauter.

Very nice round even in midsummer, since many parts of the route go through beautiful, shady forests. 😊
