Rosenalm-s'Legal-Kreuzwiesenalm-Wiesenalm

The starting point of this circular hike is at the top station of the Rosenalmbahn cable car. From here, follow trail number 10, which takes you past the Gründlalm hut. At a fork in the path, keep right towards the Kreuzjochhütte, also known as s'Legal. After a few switchbacks, you'll reach a farm track that leads you directly to the cozy snack hut. Relax with a delicious snack or enjoy a Kneipp therapy session in the clear mountain stream – always accompanied by stunning views of the Zillertal Alps.

After refreshing yourself, walk a short distance back to the Gründlalm. From here, follow trail number 7 and later number 11, which leads you through fragrant forests and expansive alpine meadows to the Kreuzwiesenalm snack hut. On the panoramic terrace, you can enjoy not only delicious regional delicacies but also a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains. Afterwards, hiking trail no. 11 leads gently downhill to the Wiesenalm, located directly at the middle station of the Rosenalmbahn cable car. From here, you can comfortably take the gondola back down to the valley.
