Cozy beginner's loop without major climbs: From Planet Planai, you go via the Talbachklamm gorge into the Untertal valley and continue via the Tälerstraße road into the Obertal valley. On the asphalt road, you ride upstream into the valley until you reach the Nickelmuseum, then continue on gravel to the Eschachalm – an ideal place to stop for refreshments.

For the return journey, first head to the Pension Bärnhofer, then turn left across the Obertalbach stream and follow the Ahornweg path to the Obertalbahn cable car. Afterwards, ride towards Rohrmoos, briefly turn right towards Schladming, and before the Erlebniswelt Stocker, turn left onto the Reiterkreuzweg path. This leads directly into the Preuneggtal valley.
Via the Strickerbrücke bridge, continue downstream. Follow the road towards Pichl Badesee until you reach the Enns cycle path R7. From there, enjoy a leisurely ride along the Enns river back to Schladming, finally reaching your starting point again.

- Period: May 15 to October 1
- Riding times: 1 hour after sunrise to 1 hour before sunset
- Ideal for: Beginners and pleasure cyclists with many refreshment stops along the route

Talbachklamm Gorge

Highlight (Segment) • Gorge

This tour is not for beginners. The ascent to the Ursprungsalm is long but manageable as this is a beautiful gravel path. Be careful with oncoming cars and buses.
From the Alm to the Giglachsee it is really tough but you will be rewarded with a great mountain panorama. I drove the tour with my son who had a normal fully.
Have fun on the tour

Enns Cycle Path (Ennsradweg)

Highlight • Cycleway

Relaxed cycle path along the Enns, with one or the other detour to the Dachstein (Dachstein Circuit) really worthwhile, making this highlight a lot more interesting.

With a wonderful 🌞 we went with the bikes on the Rohrmoos circuit to the Eschachalm today. First we drove through the refreshing Talbachklamm and then further through the Obertal to the Alm.
There was a Kaiserschmarren to strengthen.
Unfortunately, you are not allowed to go up to the Duisitzkarsee with your bikes. We left that to the 🥾.
