Today we went on a circular hike around the Geltinger Birk nature reserve. A great route with perfect "hiking infrastructure". Toilets, enough rest areas and a spacious hiking car park with a well-stocked kiosk 👍. Not to mention the wonderful views and the informative boards along the way. The nature reserve at the eastern end of the Flensburg Fjord is a habitat for around 200 species of birds, wild horses and highland cattle. Four beautiful hiking trails lead through it. We chose the "Möwe" hiking trail (13.3 km). This is the longest way and leads once around the Birk.
