This round takes you through the beautiful foothills of the Alb on moderately hilly terrain. You can enjoy views of the Drei Kaiserberge and the Albtrauf, also known as the "Blue Wall". The round is comparatively short at just under 30 kilometers and, thanks to the gentle differences in altitude, is also suitable for a trip with the family. If you want to shorten the round, the Alb-Neckar cycle path between Schopflenberg and Bad Boll is ideal. The adjacent fruit route also offers a nice way to supplement the route.
The best way to get to the starting point at the Bad Boll spa gardens is with the RadWanderBus from Göppingen. Alternatively, you can move this to the north of the round, to the south of Göppingen. Less than two kilometers from the Göppingen train station, you can also join the tour.
If you start the tour in Bad Boll you will reach the Waldeckhof about halfway, a welcome place to rest and stop. Regional products are served here and the little cyclists will also get their money's worth, because the animals on the farm can be admired up close. At the end of the tour you can make a detour from Bad Boll up to the temple. From the small pavilion you have an excellent view of the lower Filstal and the Drei Kaiserberge - perfect to end the day comfortably.
