A long tour with many meters of altitude awaits you here! The destination of the route is the lonely mountain inn Pederü, where you can rest and strengthen yourself before you roll back more or less the same way back to the starting point of the tour to Gais. The magnificent views and the beautiful nature ensure pure enjoyment.
It starts at the Hotel Innerhofer in Gais. From here you first follow the cycle path in the direction of Pustertal and then you cycle via Aufhofen to Brunico. Another bike path takes you to Lorenzen. From here you drive on an old, low-traffic road via Maria Saalen to Enneberg and St. Vigil. Slowly but steadily it goes uphill until you finally arrive in St. Vigil. The charming mountain village invites you to take a short break with a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains.
Now you tackle the next long climb, which will take you up to Pederü with the inn of the same name. Here you can eat wonderfully in the middle of the mountains and recharge your batteries before you start your way back. This takes you more or less along the same route back to the starting point of the tour to Gais. The only difference: most of the time it is downhill, so you can fully enjoy the way back.
