Idyllic route in the eastern Upper Palatinate. Great cycle paths to Oberviechtach, much of it along a former railway line, the return route on Saturdays is mostly along very quiet roads, 5 km before Neunburg then forest and field paths again. Parking at the Gasthof/Hotel Sporrer in Neunburg vorm Wald.
