Hiking
On the way through the vineyards and high altitudes around Sasbachwalden, a varied art trail with 32 unique works awaits you. From the Black Forest Bollenhut hat to winegrowing tradition and the weather vane maker, the objects deal with very different themes. In addition, your gaze repeatedly sweeps over Sasbachwalden and far beyond into the Rhine plain.
You start at the Michelbach car park and walk up to the Eck, where the artworks on metal panels line up along the upper edge of the path. They are provided with brief information about the object and sometimes also a QR code, should you wish to obtain further information about the respective object.
The trail continues towards Büchelbach, always accompanied by fantastic views, until the path finally ends in Sasbachwalden (refreshment stop at the Holzwurm restaurant). Along the way, Vierthalers Schnapshisli and Bohnerts Genießerhisli invite you to help yourself to both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
