Årshultsmyren is the largest moorland in Kronoberg County.
Large bogs are sometimes called "Europe's last wilderness areas." Indeed, few other habitats are as pristine as wetlands, and the barren, desolate expanses truly create a wilderness atmosphere. A unique habitat with distinctive flora and fauna adapted to the wet and nutrient-poor environment. Ärshultsmyren is the largest wetland in Kronoberg County—a mosaic of open raised bogs and fens, as well as wooded "islands." Coniferous and deciduous forests, wet meadows, ponds, and lakes are also protected in the extensive area. Marked trails lead through the wilderness, which is home to a rich birdlife and exceptional flora.
Wonderful tour alternating through forest and moorland and again and again the view of one of the lakes. Numerous flowering heather plants, first cranberries, arnica and bellflower as well as masterful anthills
