Trail Reviews

September 26, 2024, Elk Falls with Suspension Bridge

The view from the Suspension Bridge ist awesome. A Part of the trail was closed due to construction at the dam.

A mother bear and cub were spotted. Water flows were high! Lots of aigns of spring around. Magnificent waterfall.

On our first tour of the day, the Elk Falls 🌊 were on the plan. These are in Elk Falls Provincial Park near Campbell River 🏘. Parking 🅿️ as so often no problem, well signposted and plenty of space. The waterfall 🌊 is easy to reach 👍🏻, so that it was worth it, we shot another loop over the Deer Falls...🚶🏼‍♀️🚶🏼‍♂️. The paths were in beautiful surroundings: a lot of ferns, rustic trees 🌳 and a lot of moss.
