This route was planned by komoot.
As always when we are in Norway, we stop at the Magalaupe campsite. We spent our first holiday in Norway here and we have now become friends with Ingmar and his daughter Anja. In the afternoon the sky clears and we find a new tour on Komoot that we have never done here before. We start from the campsite and then have to walk a little way along the E6 until the Kongevegen takes us down to the Driva and the gorge. Here a beautiful path runs along the water and through the forest. On the way we stop by the sheep that have made themselves comfortable. The Driva carries a lot of water and it just rushes down. At the designated parking lot we cross the river and turn into Gottesvegen. Shortly afterwards a beautiful path leads through the forest and above the Driva along to the Gammelbro (Old Bridge). We are then actually caught in a shower, but it quickly passes. As a reward, we later have our beloved Kanelknuten and Schokosnöckler.
Parking 🅿️ costs 35 NOK and you should have a piece of paper and a pen with you. Write down the license plate number and put it in a mailbox along with the money.
