Hiking
This somewhat wild and longer route than other trails in Gatineau Park will delight nature lovers. Viewpoints and lakes dot the loop, all within a magnificent forest setting.
The trail begins at parking lot P13, on the shores of Meech Lake, a pleasant way to warm up. As you ascend, you quickly find yourself immersed in the forest. Streams accompany you with their gentle murmur, like Alary Creek. After the Tawadina Lookout, a highlight of the trail, you reach the highest point at Sky Turtle Lake, perhaps the most beautiful lake on the loop.
A long, flat section with several viewpoints follows before descending to Meech Lake. Before leaving, you can enjoy the small Blanchet Beach right next to the parking lot.
