This trail is one of the most iconic in Gatineau Park. Relatively short, it allows you to enjoy an idyllic natural setting as well as the facilities of the Mackenzie King Estate.
After starting from the Mulvihill Lake parking lot, the route quickly takes your breath away. The Lauriaut Lookout offers a sublime panorama. You then follow the cliffs of the Eardley Escarpment through a delightful forest environment. Halfway through, a detour leads to the waterfall that gave the trail its name.
After resting there, head to the Mackenzie King Estate. With picnic areas, charming ruins, museums, and children's play areas, it's the perfect place to spend the rest of the day before returning to the Mulvihill Lake parking lot.
