For quite some time I've been planning the complete cycle ring around Erfurt and today the "adventure journey" began...🚲

The journey began near the Erfurt airport with the "departure" and to be more precise, at the nearby signs towards "Elxleben". Passing horses and beautifully decorated Easter decorations in a bathtub, I quickly discovered the first Radring sign. My "runway" was …

The cycle ring is a beautiful and well-signposted cycle path. However, there are no rest stops in the north, and none at all for 25 km. There isn't a single emergency service station along the entire ring, and therefore no charging options for bikes with smaller batteries.
But otherwise, it's highly recommended.
