Explore a World Heritage Site on foot: That's the motto in Bamberg. On a tour through the Old Town, you'll stroll through a diverse architectural history. Each building is more impressive than the last.
Your starting point is Bamberg train station. You can reach Bamberg from Erlangen or Coburg in just over 20 minutes by regional express train. From the station, you'll walk to the Main-Danube Canal and cross from the historic garden district to the island city. You'll pass Maxplatz and then cross the Regnitz River. As you do so, your gaze will fall upon the magnificent Old Town Hall, perched on its own island.
Next, you'll hike up to the Michaelsberg Monastery complex, where you'll be rewarded with a panoramic view of the city. Afterward, the route zigzags through the Old Town, ensuring you discover as much as possible. Following the waterfront, you'll approach the end of the tour: Bamberg's central bus station (ZOB).

Comments
But fortunately I still have two 'cans' from Franconia.
Today comes the penultimate. Once again Bamberg from the beginning of October - because it was so beautiful.
I apologize in advance - there were quite a few photos.
I'll save on comments …
