This route was planned by komoot.
Today was Adventure Day, which for us means seeing as much as possible in one day. That's why my assistant planned the day with 4 short hikes. The first hike took us past a small lighthouse and the rough sea. Number 2 was used to demonstrate gigantic cedar trees, which are very typical of the island. At number 3 we walked along wooden walkways through the incredibly impressive rainforest. Conveniently, the rain was our constant companion here - but that must be the case given the name. Finally, we moved quickly because there were huge parking fees here. Fortunately, it was raining quite heavily, so it was even easier to walk faster.
Very nice with many views and views. If you want to get in the mood, first more forest and then the coast, then run the trail in reverse Rtg.
Spectacular panoramas towards the Pacific and grandiose flora with rustic tree shapes in the forest belt. Beautiful.
Today it only rains once, occasionally drizzling or there are showers – but it's just about bearable for a walk. After checking out the Pacific Rim National Park Reserve visitor center and paying the entrance fee – CAD 22 per day – we first drive to Ucluelet, to the trailhead of the Wild Pacific Trail. It's comparatively busy here; all generations are out and about to see the rocky landscape on the Pacific coast. The trail was created in 1999 by the then newly founded Wild Pacific Park Society and is now maintained primarily through donations. The walk along the coast from Ucluelet is worth seeing and informative. https://www.wildpacifictrail.com/about-wild-pacific-trail.html
The circular route is part of the Wild Pacific Trail. The well-paved paths are suitable for everyone. We also walked another part of the trail north of the town (Acient Cedars - Artist loops) - also highly recommended 😃!!!
Due to the well-developed path, it was like a leisurely walk in the park - but with excellent views!
After the rain turned to drizzle, we went this round. Just beautiful
