Hiking
This hike lives up to its name: there's plenty to see, especially in the center of Bad Soden am Taunus. The town was already known in the Middle Ages for its salt and warm springs, and today it is a popular spa town. The hike starts at the train station, which can be reached from Frankfurt in just under half an hour by S-Bahn.
In Bad Soden, you can expect beautiful parks, bubbling springs and stately buildings. During your walk through the town, you can enjoy the special charm and easily imagine how the dukes and their wealthy guests once strolled through the parks. You continue through the two districts of Neuenhain and Altenhain and along the Sulzbach back to the spa town. Here you will find several places to stop for a relaxing end to the tour.
If you want to walk a little further: The Hundertwasserhaus in Bad Soden and the Quellenpark are not directly on the route, but a short detour is worthwhile.

Nice little town on the edge of the Taunus with original orchards. The old town center is also very beautiful with its winding alleys and well-preserved half-timbered houses.
In any case, we were not disappointed.

We moved the starting point to the Kahlbachhalle in Altenhain and slightly altered the route in Bad Soden to pass the many fountains and springs.
The weather was great today. A few clouds, but also plenty of sunshine at 25°C.

We were really lucky with the weather and had a good time anyway 🥰
Always nice: Altenhainer Tal, Hundertwasserhaus, Quellenpark and Kurpark.

We enjoyed the walk. The old spa gardens, with their splendid flowers and many exotic trees, are definitely worth a visit.
