Beautiful hike in the Pfuderer Mountains to the Eisbruggsee and the Edelrauthütte.. Car park in Pfunders-Dun, from there it is about 30 minutes to the Bodenalm, from here you take a path towards the Eisbruggalm (path 13). Once you reach the top of the path, go left at the wooden bridge towards the Eisbruggalm (car track). From the alpine pasture you take a meadow path to the Eisbruggsee (2350m). From here we can already see the Edelrauthütte, walking time is about 30 minutes. Once you reach the top of the Eisbruggjoch 2545m, we have a beautiful view of the Pfunderer Mountains. The descent takes you back to the lake the same way. Then the path forks and we hike towards the Valsscharte (path no. 18), first over boulders and then on a path towards the Valsscharte 2415m. We saw lots of marmots here 😃. From the saddle, we hike in small switchbacks over a steep grassy slope to the Valsalm. From there, we take a serpentine road back to the Bodenalm and then the same path to the parking lot.
