After a walk through Caldaro we looked at the Caldaro parish church Maria Himmelfahrt. The Gothic bell tower is separate from the church and measures 72.5 m. The valuable winged altar is by Hans Klockner. While the exterior of the church presents itself in a neoclassical style, the interior is bright and spacious, predominantly baroque.
