Hiking

The hike to Seefelder Spitze and further along the ridge path to Seefelder Joch is an impressive mountain tour with spectacular views of the Seefeld region and the surrounding mountain ranges.

From the starting point, you first follow the forest road into the rear of the Hermannstal valley. This is where the "Krumme Steig" (trail no. 81) begins, leading up to the Rosshütte. From the Rosshütte, you follow an impressive path carved into the rock toward Reither Kar. At a fork in the path, the final ascent to Seefelder Spitze begins. Once at the top, you can enjoy a spectacular panorama of the surrounding mountains. After a short rest, the hike continues along the equally scenic ridge path to Seefelder Joch. From here, you can either hike back to your starting point or take the Rosshütte cable car down to the valley below.

Please note that alpine experience and surefootedness are essential for this tour. Some sections are steep and exposed.

A fantastic hike from Seefeld; we reached the summit after two and a half hours. The view is breathtaking! From here, you can continue hiking across scree fields to the Reitherspitze. Highly recommended!

Seefeld Pass

Highlight • Summit

The hike to the Seefelder Spitze is a truly wonderful experience. Once you arrive, you'll enjoy a magnificent view. The trail can be covered on foot or, for part of it, by cable car. The descent is very steep in places, so you'll need a head for heights.
