The starting point of this short hike is also the first stop on the history route. You leave the place and stroll on the nearby Schwarzenberg. Up there is a small pilgrimage chapel dedicated to the painful Mother of God. Nearby is a memorial for those who died in the First and Second World Wars.
Your path continues across the fields towards Zermüllen. You will always find benches along the way, which invite you to take a break with a view of the idyllic hilly landscape of the Eifel. Shortly before Zermüllen there is a pedunculate oak that is over 300 years old and was declared a natural monument in 1940. From Zermüllen you walk back over the fields to your starting point.
