Vila Robida – Istria loop

The starting point of this tour is Vila Robida – a cycling hotel with a bike storage room, workshop, and everything you need for a successful day of touring. From here, you'll embark on a varied tour through the Slovenian part of Istria – with quiet back roads, climbs between vineyards, and plenty of coastal flair.

Right from the start, you'll rush down a long descent to Sveti Anton. Then, the winding, scenic climb to Pomjan takes you uphill. You'll enjoy sweeping views across the plains to Koper and the Adriatic Sea. The tour continues through the hinterland – with small hamlet roads, a few challenging climbs, and the occasional potential café stop by the sea.

Finally, you'll roll back leisurely along the Parenzana – a former national road that's now closed to traffic. A true paradise for cyclists, right along the coast. By the way: This route is also easy to ride in the colder months.
