On this circular tour through Rhede, Weseke, and Borken, you can look forward to historic buildings and unique natural areas. You start at the town hall square in Rhede, from where you head north. You cycle leisurely through a flat cultivated landscape into the Burlo-Vardingholter Venn, and shortly afterwards, you reach Oeding on the Dutch border.

The tour continues to Weseke – there, visit the Quellengrundpark with its apothecary garden, the local history museum, the post mill, and the Picker Garden. A worthwhile stop on the following section is the Gemen Youth Castle with its stately tower and moat. Today, the complex is used as a youth hostel and event venue. A beautiful cycle path then leads you along the Bocholter Aa river to Pröbstingsee and then back to Rhede.
