More beautiful, wider, more breathtaking: the Hochalm Trail in Saalbach Hinterglemm. The Hochalm trail is still relatively new. It is somewhat hidden, but that is exactly what makes this dream …

Ideal route from the valley floor back to Hinterglemm or Saalbach. After a strenuous day on the bike, just let the bike roll a bit more and enjoy.

Today from Hinterglemm towards Reichkendlkopf at 1941 m above sea level.
Also possible with a bio bike if you're well-trained😇
Great 360-degree view. The Hochalm Trail is not for beginners. Lots of loose rock and ledges, although easy to ride over. Not a groomed trail like the rest of Saalbach😇
But not a crowd of bikers😎

Very strenuous tour, the descent was a bit rough at the beginning but cool trail.

Horny tour in the rain and wind with modest visibility. At 2000 meters of altitude there was even lighter hail 😁
The altitude meters are not correct, I started komoot before the gondola ride 😁

The Hochalm Trail is simply a must when you are in Saalbach.
Great panoramic views😍simply fantastic.
Climbing up through several bends was pretty exhausting, especially when the sun was scorching you, but it was better than rain. After we had completed the Hochalm Trail, I still had a water crossing and a very challenging uphill planned, which was very strenuous …

Went on a tour today, first up to the Reichkendlkopf, great view from up there, then continued on the Spieleck trail to the Forsthofalm, the path up before that really wasn't that nice, but the alpine pasture - a dream. Later we also went to the Lindingalm, took a little break there.

Showing Translation

The tour is quite challenging on the climb. The Hochalm Trail is very challenging, but it's fun. The scenery is a delight! A stop at the Forsthofalm is worthwhile: simply delicious and friendly!

hi, serious question, can you do the loop with a gravel bike (pushing sections are ok). we "only" have downhill tanks and gravel bikes, but I don't want to do a tour with the fat ones. greetings
