Today was another sunny day and so I took my touring bike to the region around the Hammerbachtal communities of Henfenfeld, Engelthal and Offenhausen. The Hammerbachtal cycle path network offers three well-signposted circular cycle paths, all with wonderful panoramic, easy-to-ride cycle routes and good places to stop for refreshments. Today I chose the shortest route with the valley route. It was just under 22 km and 220 m above sea level on well-developed field paths that were easy to drive through beautiful, autumn-colored nature. This tour is extremely pleasant to drive and also very suitable for families with children. The highlight would probably be the playground at the rest area in Kucha. My tip for a stop is the country inn “Zum stillen Bächlein” in Egensbach. With the new bike, a Kalkhoff Entice 3.B Move, I was able to test the luggage rack with the MIK Click system, great thing and easy to use, it works. Nice tour, it was fun and hopefully I can do another lap or two this year.
