There is hardly a more beautiful and relaxing hike than around Björkasjö. It is a perfect hiking experience, especially in autumn, when the beech trees shine in the sun. The path on the south side is very swampy at times, so make sure you wear suitable shoes.
Today 2nd tour in the beech forests of Åkulla. On the map tour 9. Since we had already climbed 5 of 6 mountains on the 1st tour, not much could happen. Parking and start at a beautiful swimming area. Was motivation for the granddaughters to jump into the fresh water after a successful hike. Was a nice trail through the woods, a very short stretch of road and a bit muddy at times. In several places you could go directly to the lake. The specified 5.5 km became 6.02 km for us 🤷🏼 ♀️
Very nice, varied tour, a bit muddy after a lot of rain.
