This day tour takes you 65 kilometers around the island of Fehmarn. Whether with an e-bike or a normal bike, you will find many great viewpoints and breaks. Here you will get to know the whole diversity of the island: idyllic harbor towns, beautiful nature and interesting nature reserves, the impressive cliffs in the east and the wide dikes in the north and west. Most of the time, the route leads along well-developed cycle paths directly along the water.

It starts in Lemkenhafen, but of course you can start the tour around the island at any point. On the way you have the opportunity to stop off in many places, because you will pass countless restaurants, cafés and snack bars. There are also some picnic areas and field sofas along the route, which invite you to take longer breaks. A short detour to the Flügger lighthouse or the NABU waterbird reserve in Wallnau is also worthwhile.

Flügge Lighthouse

The Flügger lighthouse is the only one of the five lighthouses on Fehmarn that can be visited. The first lighthouse on this site was put into operation in 1872. 44 years later it was replaced by a new tower.
