Several hours have passed between the tour and me writing this text. Nevertheless, I will try to put my thoughts into words: what is a really good hiking trail? I mean a really, really good hiking trail. There are plenty of good hiking trails. The really good hiking trails are often not easy to find. They are paths that do not run through a landscape, but run within it. They are paths that you often only notice the second time you look. They are paths that are part of the landscape, not built into it. With these thoughts in mind, I am enjoying this wonderful path along the wild Norwegian coast. Parking is free, there are some beautiful beaches and easy climbing sections. You don't need any special skills, but you should have a good feel for your own body.
This hike is probably particularly beautiful in sunny weather, like today, because only then does the water in the picturesque rocky bays shine so wonderfully blue. 🔵 The path is well marked and there are climbing aids in the form of chains, ropes, wooden steps and iron cramps at the critical points. At one point, Jake could only do the tour by lifting, otherwise skill and a good eye were required.
We wanted to finish the day with a calm and easy stroll along the coast. This was a big surprise! It was the most challenging and surprising hike of the journey.
