Hiking
The hike to Lake Wolayer begins at the parking lot near the Hubertus Chapel in the Lower Wolayer Valley. From here, you hike up the valley. A few switchbacks lead you to the Upper Wolayeralm, crossing a bubbling stream several times that cascades from the rocks.
You continue climbing through the equally beautiful Upper Wolayer Valley until you finally reach the destination of the tour, the shimmering turquoise-blue Lake Wolayer. Surrounded by a fantastic mountain backdrop, the lake offers a magical view. The Wolayersee Hut, right next to the lake, invites you to stop for a bite to eat. After resting here, you descend the same way.
