October 17, 2021,Lemberger Graf-Heinrich-Weg
Heinrich der l von Zweibrücken expanded Lemberg Castle in the 12th century. The Graf-Heinrich-Weg was named after him. Viewpoints like the Rabenstein, Ringberg and Ruppertstein were not granted to us today because of the fog. But beautiful forest pictures and mighty rock formations made of red sandstone make our tour more beautiful. The landscape in itself is a continuous and …

I started below Lemberg Castle, following the trail marked by a ghost on a blue background. Highlights include Rabenfels, Hummel, Ruppertstein, and Klosterbrunnen. A beautiful trail with plenty of places to rest.

Nice round on the Graf Heinrich Weg!
Great rocks, great paths (especially the section from Rabenfels to Ruppertstein), great views!

The start and finish for this route is the hiking car park at the Lemberg ruins. For me, the hiking trail has a nice combination of small, steep forest paths and wide forest paths. At the beginning of the tour, the first destination is the Raven Rocks, from …

We were joined today by @Angelika @ernstwilmut and @Gunter Steiner which made the day just perfect!
They had the sweet little fairy with them, which not only Curly was happy about. After the tour we had a nice end together in the PWV-Waldhaus Starkenbrunnen.

A very nice tour in the Palatinate Forest can only be recommended. The prospects are terrific
