So beautiful :)
In perfect hiking weather, seven cheerful LandArt hikers set out on a hike around Heiligenloh. The sun accompanied us along country lanes and shady paths, past a vibrant sunflower field. Ripe fruit along the trail beckoned us to snack on – so we spontaneously picked apples and plums along the way.

We were on a tour of discovery near Heiligenloh. This can be taken figuratively as well as literally. Because the discovery tour is also the name of another tour from the series of the Wilde Geest on foot.

After a hearty breakfast, we set off from the village community center in Heiligenloh.
The route is very varied and truly lives up to its name. We discovered a lot.
In the afternoon, we drove to our new location, south of Wildeshausen, and will do another hike there tomorrow 🥾🥾☀️ It's absolutely wonderful.

The tranquil little town of Heiligenloh as a starting point surprises with its beautiful, wild romance. Not obvious, but more to be discovered. It is worth walking slowly and admiring the lovingly restored houses of all sizes. The forest sections are often close to nature and take you back to another time... fairytale writers would be delighted.

Unfortunately only possible to stop for refreshments on Sundays at Haus Bollweg. Coffee to go at Edeka Humpe right on the route. Lots of opportunities to …

A really “worth going” tour with lots of beautiful impressions. The exception, however, was the southwest corner, where there is a large "bio" gas plant. When Cookie and I passed there, the huge tractors with trailers full of chopped corn raced along every three minutes. Fittingly, there were lots of cornfields around it. You can see it on the map, …

Very nice round. However, I strongly recommend not following the Komoot guideline, but following the "Wilde Geest Discovery Tour" signposts. Although they match 90%, the remaining stretches of the Gesst trail are worthwhile.
