What could be nicer on a sunny late summer morning than a relaxed walk through the forest - not much, anyway!🌲🌄🌳🙃

The Burgstadtpfad is perfect for this with its high proportion of forest and almost no elevation gain. Another highlight is the beautiful water lily pond as a place to linger.🌸🤩

After the morning tour, which was a bit strenuous in the heat, and cooling off with an iced coffee, I went for a short evening walk.
The "Burgstadtpfad" starts not far from my hotel in Kastellaun.
The family-friendly tour, which mostly runs on beautiful forest paths and trails, passes all kinds of lovingly designed stations that either invite you to …

What an experience for the soul!
After we first had an ice cream in Kastellaun while the last rain was coming down, we started with "here and there a rain droplet".
The path mainly goes away from the wide paths and at first you have the feeling that you are going through the same place in the forest in a …

The very short dream loop Burgstadt-Pfad with the promising number 100 was the second for today's International Women's Day.
From Koblenz it can be reached with the bus line 620 in a whopping 1.5 hours journey 🫣 well, with a length of less than 8km it wouldn't have been worth it to me.

It's sure to be exciting for children because of the barefoot path and the forest playground. The water lily pond in the middle of the forest is very idyllic, there is a bench there and a picnic area right …
