Day 6: Today is the last day ☹! Back up to First with the gondola. From there, we took the high-altitude trail to Bachhalbsee. Of course, it's one of the motifs for calendars, but it never fails to appeal. One, even two lakes, in front of some of the 4,000-meter peaks. If you want to go further, you can climb to Faulhorn and spend the night there, or continue hiking to Schinigen Platte. From there, the nostalgic cogwheel train takes you down to Interlaken. We hiked back and wanted to do the Cliff Walk with Ricko for the second time, in 2022. Our Border Collie, who we've petted and photographed a thousand times, mastered the walk without difficulty. Finally, we enjoyed the hospitable waiters at the restaurant again, who still recognized us from the day before (not because of us, but because of Ricko). He got a bacon from them and enjoyed everything. See you again in Grindelwald..., see you skiing in March.
Gravel path that is partly shared with mountain bikers, the ladies fought bravely and took a little break at the lake to enjoy pure nature, a pleasant tour with beautiful views. 😊👍
Quickly enjoy today's weather. Snow is forecast for tomorrow. So the Jungfraujochan will have to wait another day. Hike on the First to the Bachalpsee with mystical cloud scenery. View of the Eiger.
The path is well signposted and consists of a 3 meter wide gravel path. Here you can hike in flip-flops.
Oh good. What can I say? I was in Grindelwald today, then went up to "First" to go hiking. That was great again. An adventure world was created up there. There is something for everybody. Hikers, sledders and skiers or adventurers. In great weather I hiked to Bachalpsee and back. It was cold, but once again it was worth it. The journey to First takes 25 minutes, so a 50 minute gondola ride there and back. The whole thing for 34 francs with half-fare card. There's nothing you can say. A mega beautiful area. I'm looking forward to hiking and mountaineering there in the summer. People go there and enjoy life.
