The PIUT 50 is a challenging trail running route within the Paznaun Ischgl Ultra Trail (PIUT) that will test your endurance and mental strength. The 50-kilometer-plus run starts in Kappl and takes you to Ischgl, gaining more than 3,000 meters of elevation. At the beginning, the trail passes landmarks such as the Niederelbehütte.
The route continues along the south side of the valley. The final kilometers are on a flat section along the Trisanna and lead runners to the Ischgl Silvrettabahn, the finish point of the tour. The tour can also be run in multiple stages.
The start and finish points are easily accessible by public transport. Bus line 260 takes you from Landeck to the Paznaun Valley every hour throughout the year.
