The PIUT 20 is the shortest route of the Paznauner Höhenweg Ultra Trail (PIUT) and one of several distances that the event offers. This 20-kilometer route leads through the enchanting landscape of the Paznaun and offers great views of the towns of See, Kappl, Galtür and Ischgl. Each section offers its own challenges and allows runners to prove their endurance and determination. Of course, you can also run the route outside of the event.
Your start and finish point is in front of the Ischgler Silvrettabahn, which you can easily reach by public transport. Bus line 260 takes you from Landeck to the Paznaun Valley every hour all year round.
You set off on the challenging route to the summit of the Rauher Kopf. Along the mountain ridges you go to the picturesque Berglisee and back downhill and you run the last ten kilometers along the tracks of the PIUT TEN. The moderate length is ideal for trying out technically challenging terrain.
